What is a roofer?
A roofer is a person who installs and repair roofs using materials like, metal, shingles and asphalt.
Work Environment
The work environment for this occupation is not good at all, it is tiring and straining. It involves lots of lifting, bending and climbing/
Education/Training
For this occupation no formal education is needed, although high school math, shop, mechanics, and blueprint reading would be helpful. The training is really just the new workers being taught how to do what they are supposed to do and how by the more experienced workers that know what they need to do and what is expected.

Interested
I am not interested in this occupation at all, I do not like heights because I am tall enough as it is. I also am not skilled in any of those things that it said I should be able to do, like climb and read blueprints and stuff. It is also very dangerous, because some roofs are very sloped and steep.
